At Warner Brothers Movieworld, on the Gold Coast, this young girl was enjoying the ride with
her Dad, but I don't think she saw much of what was happening about her. She wanted
to go again, so despite the white knuckles and grimmace, she must have had fun.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words but this picture is just crying out for a clever caption. I only wish that I was smart enough to think of one. The little girl doesn't appear to be enjoying the ride half as much as her Dad, does she? It was good that she was able to pluck up the courage to go round a second time.

I love the photo of you, it is a lovely one.

Bumper Car

Our life is of extremes
with many highs and lows
there is nothing in between
except coloured lights aglow

'Neath moon's bluish puddle
when really late at night
together we do huddle
and all is still and quiet

Through mornings misty haze
with a vacancy of mind
our glassy eyes do gaze
upon the roller door behind

All rolling up a clatter
the light does inward pour
to dark and stillness shatter
today, more fun for sure

'Tis a humming in the ring
our batteries are a bubble
the riders are awaiting
make them laugh, no trouble

We bump and grind and round
and are spinning all about
'til the ending bell does sound
our riders laugh and shout

It's great to be a bumper car
and bounce around the ring
it's great to be a bumper car
we are the carnival king
