Corymbia

This beautiful small tree is now called a Corymbia, but up to about 15yrs ago, they were known as "Bloodwood Gums" or "Ghost Gums".

The leaves are thick and leathery, the flower buds are an interesting shape and grow in clusters, and the remaining seed pods have their own beauty too.

Photographed on the Gold Coast
