Whilst on a rainforest track in the McPherson Ranges, we came across a Tryon's Skink taking advantage of either the warmth of the rock, or the vantage point it offered.
This species (Eulamprus tryoni) has a limited distribution, within the McPherson Ranges. They might be seen in the Lamington National Park and the Border Ranges National Park.
The average size is about 10.5cm in length and they are live bearing.
