RAINFOREST DWELLER

Whilst on a rainforest track in the McPherson Ranges, we came across this skink taking advantage of either the warmth of the rock, or the vantage point it offered.

I haven't been able to find it's species name or even a common name for it, and would appreciate any information about the correct title.
